The Initial Consultation
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step. To help ease that process, I offer one or two initial consultations. An initial session usually lasts 90 minutes. These sessions give us the chance to explore what brings you to therapy and for you to get a feel for my approach, with time and space to talk, ask questions, and reflect on whether working together feels right.

Short-Term Therapy
Short-term therapy typically involves 12 weekly sessions and is well-suited to those seeking focused support around a specific issue. This approach can be particularly helpful when you have a clear goal or particular life situation you’d like to explore in a contained and purposeful way within a defined time frame.

Open-Ended Therapy
Open-ended therapy offers a more flexible and in-depth approach, allowing us to explore deeper patterns or ongoing challenges at a pace that suits you. This process can support lasting personal change by fostering greater self-understanding and emotional resilience. It is particularly beneficial if you're looking to make sense of longstanding issues or navigate complex emotional experiences.

Sessions are 50 minutes long.

I offer weekly sessions on the same day and the at the same time. This helps to make the therapy part of your weekly routine, making it easier to prioritise and commit to the process.
Once a weekly slot is agreed, it remains reserved for you on an ongoing basis.

I charge in full for cancellations or missed sessions, as this time is set aside specifically for you.
You will not be charged for sessions when the practice is closed or when I am unavailable due to planned absences.
